Sunlight in the Spray

A random three-day trip to Portland left me with some extra time to get out and explore. The fall foliage of the Pacific Northwest was calling, and despite the gusty October winds tumbling down the flanks of Mount Hood and blowing the spray sideways on some of the area’s more famous waterfalls, the woods and streams were peaceful.
