The Lightstation

Guarding the corner where the Puget Sound takes a turn to the west and starts running towards the sea, the Point Wilson Light stands on the shore's edge blasting its 15 seconds of white and then five seconds of red into the often foggy waters that run by it. The Keeper's House, located just steps away, has been turned into a vacation rental, and my wife and I spent two nights there, listening to the whine of the wind and slap of the waves, while watching the constant stream of traffic sail on by.
