Fall Streams

A three-day trip to Portland left me with some extra time to get out and explore, so I rented a car and headed east. The fall foliage of the Pacific Northwest was calling, and despite the gusty October winds tumbling down the flanks of Mount Hood that blew the spray sideways on some of the area’s more famous waterfalls, this patch of woods, complete with the tumbling cascade through the fallen leaves, was still and peaceful.
